Wie Wesen aus der Unterwasserwelt muten die Keramiken an, die sich schwarmartig auf der Wand verteilen. Geschaffen hat die organisch anmutenden Wesen der in Köln lebende Bildhauer Gereon Krebber. Mehrfach glasiert und bei über 1000 Grad gebrannt, zeugen die aus Ton modellierten Unikate von Krebbers lustvollem Umgang mit Materialien und deren formalen Möglichkeiten.
Gereon Krebber, 1973 in Oberhausen geboren, absolvierte sein Studium an der Düsseldorfer Kunstakademie sowie am Royal College of Art in London. Seit 2012 lehrt er als Professor für Bildhauerei an der Kunstakademie Düsseldorf. Seine Arbeiten werden international ausgestellt und institutionelle Einzelausstellungen waren u.a. in der Städtischen Galerie im Park, Viersen, 2018, im Museum DKM Duisburg, 2016 sowie im Folkwang Museum, Essen, 2016 zu sehen.
